Just after 1630 hours., E830 was alerted to the 9300BLK of Kimbark Avenue for the report of an outside fire. While enroute, communications advised they were now receiving multiple calls and believed it was a house fire. E830 AOS to find a one story rambler with heavy fire throughout. With a report of one trapped, crews made an aggressive interior attack until conditions worsened and were pulled out for a brief time, before returning to offensive operations.
