Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department is part of the Prince George’s County Fire & EMS Department. Volunteers at Landover Hills are exposed to a fast paced, “city style” way of firefighting and EMS. As a suburb of Washington, DC, Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department has a very diverse response area to include major roadways (I-495, I-95, B/W Parkway, Rt. 50) along with residential, commercial, schools, shopping malls, high rises, and CSX/Marc Rail. Landover Hills Volunteer Fire Department is centrally located between many local Universities (Univ. of Maryland, George Washington, Georgetown, UMBC, PGCC, Bowie State), making a rewarding career as a Volunteer and going to school possible!
